SG Safety corporation PPE respirator for Industrial Safety - Disposable Filter type respirators

Protecting Yourself in Dusty or Hazardous Industrial Environments

In many industrial settings, the air is often filled with dust and harmful substances, posing significant health risks to workers. Ensuring personal protection in such environments is paramount. The most effective and convenient way to protect yourself is by wearing respiratory protective equipment.

Why Respiratory Protective Equipment is Essential

Respiratory protective equipment (RPE) serves as a barrier against inhaling dangerous substances present in the air, such as dust, fumes, and chemical vapors. These substances can cause serious health issues, ranging from respiratory problems to chronic diseases. By using the appropriate RPE, you not only protect your own health but also ensure that you remain safe for your family and loved ones.

Disposable Masks: Ideal for environments with low to moderate levels of dust and particulate matter. They are easy to use and dispose of, making them convenient for short-term use.

Product characteristics

01. High performance 3 layer electrostatic filter

    Improved dust blocking efficiency↑

02. Comfortable thanks to the cooling exhaust valve

    Improved breathability↑

03. Comfortable fit thanks to the ergonomic product design

    Improved snugness↑

[Product Features]

Outer Layer - Spun Bond

The Spun Bond applied to the product offers excellent texture and flexibility, along with outstanding breathability and durability against abrasion.

Inner Layer - Needle Punching

The inner fabric utilized in the product forms an optimal density layer, resulting in minimal pressure and low breathing resistance. It boasts excellent shape retention and superior restoration capability.

Nose Clamp

Designed to fit on the nose with minimal pressure, ensuring a perfect seal.

Exhaust Valve

The one-way exhaust valve filters harmful substances through the filter during inhalation. The valve's exhaust flap opens when exhale, enabling rapid exhaust

[Workplace Hazards/Tasks by Grade]

• Grade 1/ FFP2: Areas where metal fumes are generated, such as welding, soldering, metal casting, forging, shipbuilding, and pharmaceutical mist-generating areas.

• Grade 2/FFP2: Dust and mist from substances such as calcium carbonate, silica, cement, cotton, flour, coal, metal vegetables, and mineral oil.

• Activated Carbon Grade 1: Odor and odor-generating workplaces such as welding, soldering, casting, coating, petrochemical processes, printing, tobacco manufacturing, shipyards, heavy industries, pesticide spraying, etc.

• Activated Carbon Grade 2: Odor and odor-generating workplaces such as welding, soldering, casting, coating, petrochemical processes, printing, tobacco manufacturing, pesticide spraying, etc.

[Prohibited Workplaces]

• Asbestos handling areas.
• Areas where dust containing highly toxic substances such as beryllium is generated.
• Areas with oxygen concentrations below 18%.

Ministry of Employment and Labor Announcement No. 2020-35 (January 15, 2020)

< Special Grade>

• Areas where dust containing highly toxic substances such as beryllium is generated.
• Asbestos handling areas.

<Gr.1  (FFP2) >

• Areas where dust and particles are generated excluding places requiring "Special Grade" masks.
• Areas where dust generated from heat, such as metal fumes, occurs.
• Areas where dust generated mechanically occurs (excluding places where Grade 2 mask is required, such as for silica).

<Gr. 2 (FFP3) >

• Areas where dust and particles are generated excluding places requiring "Special Grade" and Grade 1 masks.

<Facial filter respirator masks without exhaust valves should not be used in areas requiring "Special Grade" and Grade 1 masks.>

[WARNING] Failure to apply suitable respiratory protective equipment for oxygen deficiency, dust, and toxic gas generating operations may result in death or occupational diseases.
