Upcoming event - 2024 Korea International Safety & Health Show (KISS)

From July 1 (Monday) to July 4 (Thursday), 2024, the Korea International Safety & Health Show (KISS) will be held at the KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do.



As a leading professional exhibition driving the growth of industrial safety and health in Korea, this national event is hosted by the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency and supported by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. 

The Key companies and stakeholders from the domestic and international safety and health industries are attending and offering a platform to showcase new directions in industrial safety and health.


Did you know that July is Safety Month?

The International Safety and Health Exhibition, held annually in July, features a wide range of products related to industrial safety and protective gear, industrial health and occupational health, public service and safety management, smart safety, chemical industry safety, and disaster prevention industries.


SG Safety participates in a similar location every year, and this year we will be at Booth No. 8A101.

At last year's exhibition, we showcased VR devices for industrial safety training, personal protective equipment (PPE), and an electric vehicle fire suppression system.









This year's event provides an excellent opportunity to explore and experience the latest industrial safety products and technologies.

Vehicle Fires Reach 5,000 Cases Annually... Installation of Vehicle Fire Extinguishers is Not an Option but a Necessity

 With the amendment of the Fire Safety Act in 2023 in Korea, the mandatory installation of fire extinguishers for vehicles has been expanded from 7-seats to 5-seats and above. Even though it's not legally required, considering the increasing number of fire incidents due to the proliferation of equipment in vehicles, it's highly recommended to install adequate fire extinguishers for the safety of drivers and passengers in case of a fire. Vehicle fires mostly occur during driving, and it's crucial to suppress them early, especially considering various fuels and oils that can ignite. Particularly on highways or remote roads far from fire stations, the necessity of vehicle fire extinguishers for early suppression is significant. The performance of fire extinguishers is regulated per unit of 0.7kg capacity.
